Based in Columbia, Maryland, MICROS Systems, Inc. is the world's leading developer of enterprise applications serving the hospitality and specialty retail industries and boasts more than 310,000 restaurant installations worldwide. It distributes its products through subsidiaries, independent dealers/distributors, and company-owned sales and service offices around the world.
We evaluated MICROS' Enterprise Information Portal which is used to provide insight and reporting capabilities to the over 310,000 POS installations across the hospitality, specialty retail, and restaurant industries. Through that process, we developed an extensive report describing issues found and illustrating fundamental principles and proposed redesigns.

XPIENT is leading provider of innovative, results-driven restaurant technology. It boasts more than 25,000 installed restaurants, including brands such as Arby’s, Jack in the Box, Panera Bread, Bob Evans, Panda Express, and many more.
XPIENT engaged Scoresby Interactive for several different projects, one of which was to design a highly usable and generic kiosk solution which allows fast food customers to order without the need for a cashier’s help. XPIENT's embedded kiosk solution has become the new standard for the food service self-order segment. See the demo presented at FS/TEC 2009.

Design
WAND is a Leader in Quick Serve Restaurant (QSR) Point of Sale Technology, providing hardware such as cashier workstations and digital menus, as well as software such as POS systems, and central and back office suites.
Scoresby Interactive became connected with WAND through our Wendy's Point of Sale (POS) design project, and WAND now incorporates many of our POS interaction methodologies into their NextGen POS.
Following the Wendy's project. WAND engaged Scoresby Interactive to help design a "Bump Bar" and the software used in their Kitchen Video Display systems.
